Key People

Chris Lang

Chris Lang holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree from Monash University. He is also a Valuer, Real Estate Agent, Auctioneer, and Land Economist.

Over the past 35 years, Chris has been a regular speaker at a wide range of business conferences and seminars around Australia. And he is also the author of 6 sell-out books on property; plus a book for students, which he co-authored with his daughter Binny, entitled "Your Future Success". He is also co-author of a handbook for school leavers entitled "Your Passport to the World of Business".

Being the third generation in real estate in his family, Chris followed in the footsteps of his grandfather, Gideon, who formed K Gardner and Lang in 1913, and his father, Deon. However, Chris has developed his own particular emphasis and expertise in the commercial property area.

Chris has considerable experience in the creation and leasing of retail and mixed-use properties … from his involvement with the World Trade Centre, the WALK, Australia Centre, and Geelong Market Square - in each case, right from their inception.

Ultimately, he handled the sale of Australia Centre for $A55 million, along with Brandon Park for $A51 million.

Chris has proven himself as a skilled negotiator - prepared to explore creative outcomes, and take hard decisions when required. And his latest book - "How Investing in Commercial Property Really Works" - is now available in the bookshops.

A large part of Chris’ success revolves around his direct-marketing skills that bring you in results.
